About Holder’s Virgins Again

© Renee 2012

I wrote a post just like this one that is now hiding somewhere about, so now I have to reconstruct it here. It ties into a current story on the Virgin Islands, Ace Development and and a man named  Alvin Williams.

The original story I wrote was on corruption in the Virgin Islands involving a group that included the governor there, a man named John de Jongh. Now when I hear that name de Jongh, and my work on the Armour family and Alice and her Happy Vally set in Africa pops into my head I start thinking….. so…

About Holder and his Virgins again. More in comments.

Those that believe that these things are not connections are not connecting…

Coincidence ?

V.I. Attorney General Vincent Frazer said Friday that he has set up a panel of his senior staff to look into a multitude of complaints residents have made to the V.I. Justice Department about the territory’s 2012 elections.

Mohamed Abdel Moneim Al-Fayed (Arabic: محمد عبد المنعم الفايد‎ Muḥammad ʿAbd al-Munʿim al-Fāyid, IPA: [mæˈħæmmæd ʕæbdelˈmenʕem elˈfæːjed]; born 27 January 1933) is an Egyptian businessman. Amongst Fayed’s business interests are ownership of the English Premiership football team Fulham Football Club, Hôtel Ritz Paris and formerly Harrods Department Store, Knightsbridge. Fayed has three siblings: Ali, Salah, and Safia; and married Finnish socialite and former model Heini Wathén in 1985, with whom he had four children: Jasmine, Karim, Camilla, and Omar; and three grandchildren. Fayed’s son, Dodi, from his first marriage to Samira Khashoggi, died in a car crash in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris along with Diana, Princess of Wales and driver Henri Paul on 31 August 1997. Fayed’s wealth is estimated at $1.2 billion, making him the 993rd-richest person in the world.

[edit] Early lifeBorn in Bakos, Alexandria, Egypt,[1] as the eldest son of an Egyptian primary school teacher, Fayed’s first entrepreneurial venture began at school where he sold homemade lemonade. He was married for two years, from 1954 to 1956, to Samira Kashoggi.

[edit] United KingdomFayed and his brothers founded a shipping company in Egypt before moving its headquarters to Genoa, Italy with additional offices in London. Around 1964 Fayed entered a close relationship with Francois Duvalier and became interested in the construction of a Fayed-Duvalier oil refinery in Haiti. He also associated with the geologist George de Mohrenschildt. Fayed terminated his stay in Haiti six months later when a sample of “crude oil” provided by Haitian associates proved to be low-grade molasses.[2] It was then that Fayed moved to England where he lived in central London. In the mid 1960s, Fayed met the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Rashid al Makhtoum who entrusted Fayed with helping transform Dubai. Fayed introduced British companies like the Costain Group (of which he became a director and 30 percent shareholder), Bernard Sunley and Taylor Woodrow to the Emirate to carry out the required construction work. He also became a financial adviser to the then Sultan of Brunei Omar Ali Saifuddien III, in 1966.

Fayed set up IMS (International Marine Services) in 1968 in Dubai.

He briefly joined the board of the mining conglomerate Lonrho in 1975 but left after a disagreement. In 1979, Fayed bought The Ritz hotel in Paris, France for US$30 million.[3]

In 1984, Fayed and his brothers purchased a 30 percent stake in House of Fraser, a group that included the famous London store Harrods, from Roland ‘Tiny’ Rowland, the head of Lonrho. In 1985, he and his brothers bought the remaining 70 percent of House of Fraser for £615m. Rowland claimed the Fayed brothers had lied about their background and wealth and put pressure on the government to investigate them.

In 1999, DNA testing confirmed that Petrina Khashoggi, daughter of billionaire arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi, was Aitken’s biological child, the result of an affair with Soraya Khashoggi, née Sandra Daly, then wife of Adnan Khashoggi.[2] His other children include twin daughters, Alexandra and Victoria Aitken,[2] as well as his son William Aitken.

And then there’s this: from http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/
BEIJING: Disgraced Communist Party chieftain Bo Xilai got a phone call to Chinese president Hu Jintao wiretapped, reports said, casting doubts over the government’s attempt to paint the Bo affair as a case of corruption.

A report in the New York Times suggested Bo’s downfall was connected to an intense power struggle in the Communist Party before the scheduled change of guard later this year. Bo, who caused a stir with his crime busting drive as head of Chongqing city, is facing investigation for disciplinary violations while his wife, Gu Kailai, was recently accused of murdering a British citizen.

It goes without saying as voters we give our consent to be governed solely on the belief election outcomes have been fairly obtained and that we have the right our votes are counted accurately, reliably, and honestly.

Recently, “Governor” John P. deJongh, Jr. vetoed election reform measures that would have gone a long way to give voters a clear view into the true integrity and transparency of our elections.

Given this development, and the knowledge that the election reform measures legislated and passed by the 29th Legislature were intended to take effect in 2014 and not for the 2012 election cycle as everyone expected, it is understandable…
